I use invertebrate systems to ask questions about the evolutionary  and ecological causes and consequences of behavioral variation. My Master's work focused on sexual size dimorphism and antipredatory behavior in Aedes mosquitoes. My PhD research investigated visual signaling in nocturnal burying beetles. Currently, I am working with the Hamer lab groups at Texas A&M to better understand how vector behavior influences disease dynamics.
